Strange Magic is a single-stage rocket designed for flight testing GTXR's custom flight computer. After many years of development and rigorous ground testing, the avionics systems were finally ready to be flown.
On October 5th, 2024, Strange Magic successfully launched at SEARS in Samson, AL, reaching an apogee of around 5000 ft. The in-house avionics system operated as intended. Following this monumental milestone, the team now is in hot pursuit of developing a new version of the flight computer to control our future two-stage rockets.
