GNC

Guidance Navigation and Controls

GNC builds rockets of varying sizes for active controls, with its main goal of attitude stabilization and precise maneuverability. These rockets are equipped with various forms of control systems, including active fin-control, gimballed thrust-vectoring, and jet-vanes. GNC welcomes any major and background experience in its ambitious journey to become the first collegiate team to launch jet-vanes technology.

LIT

Launch Initiative at Tech

LIT competes in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative, a NASA sponsored outreach competition, where teams complete a 9-month long formal design cycle to launch a high power rocket with payload to an altitude of between 4,000 - 6,000 feet. To support the team's competitive efforts and the overall mission of Ramblin' Rocket Club, the team seeks to gain a competitive edge by engaging in numerous innovative outreach missions as well.
